Latest workshop photos…..

It was lovely to welcome Shirley and her team from work for a private workshop on Tuesday where we decorated glass pieces with napkins

After choosing a design we loved from my extensive collection of napkins (I can’t believe I now have over 100 designs!!) we layered them onto our glass in reverse, finishing with acrylic paint and varnish.

I love it when new students come to my studio and leave with something they are really proud of.

Yesterday, I ran the first of my Painted Candle workshops, which as it was 1st December, felt very festive….everyone produced gorgeous christmas trees on their candles (except for Thel….hers was gorgeous just not a Christmas tree but a beautiful angel as she painted a tree last year!) …….sorry I forgot to take a finished photo of yours Laura and Thel!!  I still have a couple of places on my evening painted candles class this next Thursday so let me know if you would like to come along.

In January I am running a Floral Beginners Course perfect for those who are new to Decorative Painting and would like to learn how to paint beautiful flowers using just one stroke……the morning course is full but I still have spaces on the evening course so why not book a place….I guarantee you will be thrilled with what you achieve, even if you haven’t done art since school!!

I have one space left on my Upcycled Photo Frame morning workshop after Christmas…most of us have an old frame we would like to jazz up and at this class I will show you how.

This weekend I hope to finalise some more classes for February and March and as a follower of my blog, you will hear first!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Happy painting…..

Dawn x
