WOYWW 203

Hi everyone
Happy WOYWW…..
After teaching a half day workshop on Saturday when my students created some fab textured tags, it got me thinking about all those stamps I have that I have NEVER used!!  I don’t know if you’re like me….love visiting craft shops and big craft exhibitions and are forever buying stamps because you just have to have them?

So I decided to sort through my stamps and get out all the ones that I have bought that have never seen an ink pad!

The basque in this one is my latest addition and one that WILL be used very soon!

My favourite here is the Indigo Blu girls head, it is simply gorgeous…..so why has it sat in my drawer for about a year!!
I loved the shell set by darkroomdoor and didn’t realise how great they can look embossed until one of my ladies used it on her tag at the weekend (see previous blog).  The cube stamps at the top are by Judu Kins and each one has famous landmarks from a different country….USA, Italy and Paris….I also have the London one but that HAS been used lol.

My favourite here is the Vintage Sewing set…I see a mixed media project coming soon don’t you?
Thanks for stopping by my blog and enjoy your WOYWW.  For more blog hopping fun go to the Stamping Ground
Dawn x

  1. That is a lot of beautiful unused stamps Dawn! I have that Creative Expressions set and they are fab to use. There are so many of them they will keep you busy on their own for a long time!!!! Enjoy. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 33

  2. all those are stamps you’ve never used??? I wonder how many I could rustle up… let’s not go there! Hope you get to play with them all soon. Helen, 2

  3. Hi Dawn, wow, that is a lot of uninked stamps! I am ashamed to admit I do exactly the same. Perhaps we should both take a leaf out of Belinda’s (above)book and ink them up when we get them, there may be more chance that they will be used? Love that basque stamp btw. Happy WOYWW, hugs, Anne x #37

  4. oh you have some beauties there! i too like the girl’s head – and the secret door set 🙂
happy WOYWW and have a great week 🙂
    no. 1 – can’t believe it!!

  5. You have some really amazing stamps there and I can see and understand why you bought them, but to not have used them well that is a crime. I shall be back to see how many amazing things you make with them
Happy WOYWW and thank you for sharing your desk

  6. Thanks for all your comments, Belinda that’s a great idea about inking them as soon as I get home! I now have drawers for all different themes and am wondering if that’s the problem…have too many to have around me all the time.

  7. It’s criminal not to have used these stamps but I think all of us have some like this tucked away somewhere hoping to be used. You sure do have some wonderful stamps that MUST now be used.

    Happy WOYWW

  8. I try to avoid looking at things I have bought and never used, I might just go into a total state of depression thinking about how much I still want to do and how little time I have. LOL
You have some really cool stamps there, enjoy playing with them.
    Happy belated WOYWW!

  10. Thanks for the return visit. My Card stash organiser is for the bits I have stamped and cut, die cut, or printed and cut while waiting for kids in my “car office”. This way it is easy to make cards when I get a gap at my desk and I can just grab what I need without hunting for it. I have a finished card organizer that looks the same so when peeps want to buy one or I need one, they can go to the category they need without hunting through a huge pile. PS: do you know you have the word verification still on?

  11. Awesome stamps! I love “rediscovering” stamps I’ve forgotten, it’s like shopping without the price tag.LOL I really would like to try some of the darkroom door stamps. Thanks for visiting my desk and the distress paints has just become available in my favorite online store in the past couple weeks but I’m sure there headed your way. They are marvelous to work with!
