WOYWW 344

Hi fellow Woyww’ers or to those that have no idea what I am talking about….What’s on your Workdesk Wednesday!!

It’s been ages since I have taken part but I’M BACK!

I’ve had a decorative painting project that I have wanted to do for ages and have finally made the time.  It’s a pattern by Linda Lock from her book Altered Vol 3 and it is absolutely gorgeous.

It’s a picture of a fab french shop called Le Potager de Ville selling fruit and vegetables.  I just love every bit of it from the blinds to the window boxes and stonework on the walls.  So far I have only added texture paste to my canvas panel and traced on the design, which wasn’t easy with all those bumps to go over but now I’ve got to the fun bit.

Hopefully by next Wednesday you will see an improvement….you never know…I may have finished it but then again pigs might fly!

Thanks to Julia at the Stamping Ground for hosting this…pop over there and have a look at other workdesks…it’s really inspiring.

Til next time…

Dawn x

  1. Ooh, I love paintings of shops and things in France. Very chic! Am eagerly looking forward to seeing what you have done to it by next week – please do show.
    Happy New Year
    Hugs, Neet 13 xx

  2. Lovely to see you Dawn, at the beginning of another epic project! It already looks fab. I hope you have a lot of pleasure in the completion, it’s certainly a subject that I love too. Something about houses and shops that stand on rows of personality!

  3. Hi Julia, yes I painted the walls last night, was great fun…I go from paper crafting and mixed media, to still life painting to large blended flowers, I must admit the variety keeps it interesting…just need to keep this one moving so something quicker to compete doesn’t take over! Hopefully I will have more to show next week! x
