Welcome to ‘May News’ from the Paint Palette studio…..
As I write this I am torn between being creative in my studio and enjoying the wonderful weather we are having this bank holiday weekend…the sun certainly brings a smile to my face!
My weekly classes finished a bear project I designed called ‘Holly’s Hat Shop’ combining acrylic paints with decorative papers….everyone’s bears were unique with different shop names too. Here’s a selection of my wonderful students’ work…..
My next class is a metal Herb Trough painted in the Creative Possibilities style which combines gorgeous summer colours with flowers, dragonflies and hearts….a great workshop for all levels so why not come along and have a fun day being creative with others…..class date Monday 12th May.
I am currently ‘playing’ or rather ‘being messy’ with a mixed media canvas that has lots of embellishments on it and a gorgeous photo of my wonderful mum. It certainly is a ‘work in progress’ one I hope to finish today and the plan is to run this as a workshop in the near future…..watch this space!
