Hi everyone
I haven’t had a chance to sit in my studio and ‘play’ this week so thought I would share my ‘Decorated Driftwood’ class that I held yesterday. This class came about when I demonstrated some elements of a bigger project of a similar theme, to my weekly students….it looked so cute sitting on my dresser next to some plates that I thought I would share it with others at a morning workshop.
First we distressed a new piece of pine with a hammer and chisel and layers of paints and mediums……
Then we painted a terracotta pot, some simple flowers and scrolls and finally added some vintage text to finish it off.
We had lots of fun, ate delicious cream cake courtesy of my mum and my ladies took home a finished piece they certainly should be proud of!
Thanks for visiting my desk, am off to nose at others courtesy of Julia at the stamping ground . Happy WOYWW.
