<\/p>\nI’m busy packing my bag as I’m off to Crick near Rugby for a day’s self indulgent painting with Karen Hubbard from the States….can’t wait.<\/p>\n
BADFA, British Association of Decorative and Folk Arts are hosting her and I’m looking forward to catching up with old friends too…I’ve been a member of BADFA since I started teaching over 15 years ago!<\/p>\n
Karen is renowned for her painting of insects and animals and I will be painting her ‘Maggie and Magnolias’ design below.<\/p>\n

It’s such fun to be a student for a change and to learn new techniques that I can share with you all. \u00a0I’m not a lover of cats but I know I will be able to use what I learn on bears and other wildlife…..if my eyes look anything like Karen’s I’ll be well chuffed!!<\/p>\n
Will take lots of photos and blog when I get back…best go pack those brushes….and chocolate \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
